50 years ago today (7/7/70), The Stooges released their proto-punk classic Fun House. Following their 1969 self-titled debut, Fun House built upon their spirited agro, which was led by the fiery antics of frontman Iggy Pop and the grinding guitar chords of Ron Asheton. Fun House wasn’t a critically applauded album at first, but it got its due later on and even saw the reformed Stooges playing it its entirety in 2007.
