Five Years Ago Today – Tool Released Fifth Album ‘Fear Inoculum’

Five years ago today (8/30/19), Tool released Fear Inoculum, their fifth studio album and first in 13 years. Their previous album was 10,000 Days in 2006. With a vast layer of sound and very dense compositions that came in at 84 minutes long, Fear Inoculum might be Tool’s most ambitious album to date. Of course, the band didn’t hype the album on late-night TV or anything of that sort, but instead, they did a lengthy tour to support right before COVID. Check out their Colorado show on 10/16/19.
