As the years go on, Jones continues to spawn new sounds from his mysterious creative mind that add to Tool’s unique brand of prog metal that delights and maddens with equal turns. Jones’ playing is characterized by his use of unconventional time signatures, intricate rhythms, and a heavy, textural sound.
