Happy 65th birthday today to Paul Westerberg (born 12/31/59), the leader of the always-adored The Replacements. The Replacements started out as anti-establishment rockers who spent more time drunk and high than sober. Then the band moved to the glories of power pop with a succession of critically adored albums, including Pleased To Meet Me, Tim, and Let It Be.
