Happy 75th birthday today to multi-instrumentalist David Lindley who was born on 3/21/44. Lindley founded the band El Rayo-X, and who has worked with many other performers including Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, Curtis Mayfield and Dolly Parton. Lindley is renowned for his middle eastern string influences and contributions which have made his sound identifiable to his work as a session musician and live performer.
