Happy 75th birthday to legendary vocalist Linda Ronstadt (born 7/15/46) who received massive success in the ’70s in the realm of rock and country-rock, paving the way for the modern Americana movement (Margo Price, Neko Case). Although she has halted her performing career due to Parkinson’s disease, there has been a renowned interest in the deep ranged vocalist in the recent film The Sound of My Voice.
