Happy 90th birthday to jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell (born 7/31/31). Burrell is renowned for his funky collaborations with Jimmy Smith and he produced the 1965 Billboard Top Twenty hit Verve album Organ Grinder Swing. Burrell has contributed to many esteemed jazz labels including: Prestige, Blue Note, Verve, CTI, Muse, and Concord.
