“Soak”, the debut single from Blue Lupin, is a moody and expressive portrait of an artist figuring out the space and patience sometimes necessary to turn flashes of inspiration into fully formed, cohesive statements. “Too far/too soon/make space/give it room/it’s coming now/it’s coming through/it’s coming in/let it bloom” seem like simple enough lines but take some more heft when put with the song’s meditative melody and muted yet enveloping production. Look for more singles being released by Blue Lupin in November, January, and March.
“Soak is a song born out of letting go of my grasp of the creative process. It came from a sense of letting go, taking the pressure off and diving into the playful side of creativity,” says the artist.
