Good Monday morning, folks. For this week’s stormy soundtrack, we’re revisiting my best mix tape. I ran the first half of this a few weeks ago for the Friday Mix Tape but did not do it justice. I pieced this together a couple years ago when I was traveling from Boston to New York pretty regularly, and it dips and curves and rises and falls like the Merritt Parkway, New York’s own little Autobahn.
Filled with dubby tones, jazz remixes and breathy vocal tracks, it’s the perfect accompaniment for long weekend travels. I split it in half for anyone who already grabbed Part I — both halves can stand alone, but they taste better together.
