LISTEN: Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Share Spirited Version of “When The Levee Breaks”

Today, to celebrate the launch of their extensive summer tour, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss released their own rendition of “When The Levee Breaks” (Rounder Records). The song has been a part of the country, blues, and rock n roll canon for nearly a century.”When the Levee Breaks” was released on Led Zeppelin’s legendary untitled fourth album, defined by John Bonham’s unsurpassed drumming. Plant and Krauss’s version has found its place in setlists over the past several years..
