35 years ago today (7/21/90), Roger Waters performed Pink Floyd’s The Wall (which he wrote the majority of) at the site of the former Berlin Wall in Potzdamer Platz, Berlin, to commemorate the fall of the Wall eight months earlier. Over 350,000 people attended, and the event was broadcast live worldwide.
