90 years ago today the late Sam Cooke was born (1/22/31). Commonly known as the King of Soul Cooke with is stirring vibrato released a number of hit songs including “You Send Me”, “A Change Is Gonna Come”, “Cupid”, “Wonderful World”, “Chain Gang”, “Twistin’ the Night Away”, and “Bring It On Home to Me.” Although predictable being inauguration week, let’s revisit “A Change Is Gonna Come” – truly it’s never been more meaningful.
