Happy 50th birthday today to M. Ward (born 10/4/73) who has mastered the art of mingling dusty musical analog nostalgia with a poignant twist. Having released 12 solo albums since 1999 (mainly on Marge) and collaborations as She & Him along with Monsters of Folk; Ward has earned accolades amongst his musical peers and earned himself a nod as a critics favorite.
