Happy 70th birthday to David Bryne who was born on 3/14/52. The Talking Heads founding member/lead singer/songwriter has created one of rock’s most influential bodies of work. Since the breakup of the Talking Heads in 1991, Byrne has released his own solo recordings and worked with various media including film, photography, opera, fiction, and non-fiction, and the most recent highly successful American Utopia tour. Byrne has received an Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe, and just recently a Tony award and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: quite the resume indeed.
