Blues Traveler Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Tour & Acoustic Greatest Hits CD

Blues Traveler is celebrating its 20th anniversary by releasing an acoustic greatest hits album, Cover Yourself, and embarking on a U.S. tour

The 31-city tour kicks off October 6 at House of Blues in New Orleans and will make its way across the country through the first part of December.

Scheduled stops include the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Ga. (October 9), Rams Head Live! in Baltimore (October 13), Captain Fun in Pensacola Beach, Fla. (October 19), Iron Horse in Hoover, Ala. (October 26), Music Mill in Indianapolis (October 30), the Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut (November 6), Cabooze in Minneapolis (November 16), the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore. (November 25), Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, Calif. (November 29), and Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, Calif. (December 2).

Yourself, which is due for release October 30, was recorded in Austin with Spoon’s Jim Eno at the board. The disc features alternate versions of the band’s most popular songs, which were chosen by fans who voted for their favorites on Blues Traveler’s web site.
