Mike Watt’s Il Sogno Del Marinaio Tour – 52 Shows in 53 Days

This August 26, Mike Watt (MINUTEMEN, fIREHOSE, Iggy & The Stooges, Ciccone Youth, ETC.) will be releasing the sophomore effort from Il Sogno Del Marinaio (“the sailor’s dream”), a trio featuring Italians guitarist Stefano Pilia and drummer Andrea Belfi and America’s Mike Watt on thunderbroom. The new album is titled Canto Secondo and comes out on Watt’s Clenchedwrench imprint. Il Sogno Del Marinaio will support Canto Secondo with an extensive North American tour that starts mid September 10 and ends November 1 for a whopping 52 shows in 53 days. The album was recorded December 2013 in bologna over the course of eight days at Vacuum Studio, recorded by Bruno Germano.
