My Bloody Valentine To Record Two New Albums

Kevin Shields has confirmed that My Bloody Valentine are set to record two new albums.

After playing a headline set at ATP New York on September 21, Shields said that he wants to restart work on songs written for the band’s aborted third album.

The last LP the group released was ‘Loveless’ in November 1991.

"I realised that all that stuff I was doing in 1996 and 1997 was a lot better than I thought," he told The New York Times.

Shields now plans to finish that record, before starting work on another completely new album this autumn.
