Steely Dan will return to New York City in October for another run of residency dates at the Beacon Theatre. Select nights will once again feature Dan albums performed in full.
After skipping the Beacon on 2014’s tour, Donald Fagen, Walter Becker and their incredible backing band will be back at the 2,829-capacity venue in October. The Beacon Theatre residency includes two nights devoted to 1977’s Aja. Other albums being played in entirety will be 1976’s The Royal Scam and 1980’s Gaucho. The residency also includes two greatest hits shows and a “by popular demand” set. The last gig is described as “The Most Unforgettable Night of Whatever – featuring spectacular musical guests, glorious tunes and riffage, and whatever the party calls for!”
