There really has been no shortage of Bob Dylan news these days. Earlier this week, Zimmy dropped his oddly enjoyable holiday album Christmas In the Heart. Now comes news that a previously unreleased song will be included on the a new compilation album for the CBS show NCIS.
The track, called California, was originally recorded during the sessions for Bringing It All Back Home, but up until now had never made it onto an official release. NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack, Vol. 2
, which will also include new tracks from John Mellencamp, Norah Jones and Sheryl Crow, hits stores on 11/3 – the same night Dylan’s track will be featured on the show.

Finally, it’s a big week for former Blips acts around these parts. Earlier this week we mentioned Passion Pit’s headlining gig at Terminal 5, which has already sold out prompting a second show to be added. Today, we’d like to point you in the way of a new EP from Sarah Siskind called Live At The Living Room NYC, which you can download for free straight from her website. The five-song album features material from the singer-songwriter’s latest release Say It Louder, as well as Lovin’s For Fool.
