Foo Fighters’ front man Dave Grohl has brought on some familiar faces to help with the forthcoming Foo Fighters record.
Grohl has revealed that former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has layed down some bass tracks on a new Foo Fighters song. The band has also recruited Butch Vig to produce the album. Vig also produced Nirvana’s 1991 album, Nevermind. To keep the guests flowing, Husker Du‘s Bob Mould also appears on a track titled, "Dear Rosemary."
According to Grohl, the new album is their "heaviest yet", and they are recording in his garage in a "totally old school analogue way."
