Chicano Batman Share Spring Tour Dates

Psych-soul quartet Chicano Batman is elated to announce a spring tour starting in northern California then jumping to the east coast for a run taking the LA outfit from Florida to Baltimore. The dates follow a performance at M3F Festival along w/ Kurt Vile, Jungle and Empire of the Sun. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 8 at 12pm EST at http://chicanobatman.com and a full list of tour dates can be found below.

Chicano Batman released Freedom Is Free via ATO Records and the album not only foregrounds the soul and R&B elements of the band’s sound, but also speaks volumes during the political climate of this time. Freedom Is Free earned praise from Billboard, Noisey, LA Times, NPR’s All Things Considered and Chicago Tribune, cover stories with LA Weekly and Pollstar, a Tiny Desk Concert and their national TV debut on CONAN.

Chicano Batman’s powerful video for “Freedom Is Free” is a compelling statement of the band’s frustrations in a world of oppression and debuted at NPR.

The band recently collaborated with Miguel on their smash “Black Lipstick” and is working on the follow-up to their ATO Records debut, set for release later this year.
