Air Devi is the project of Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Devi Majeske. Check out “Shakey,” her raw and perfectly strange new pop-rock single. With direct yet intriguing vocal delivery and bouncy basslines, Majeske creates a whimsical DIY alt-rock presentation that is part Weezer and part Moldy Peaches.
“Shaky” is an upbeat song about feeling overwhelmingly nervous but pushing through it with the mindset that there is really nothing left to lose. Writing this song was a cathartic way of dealing with some of my own anxieties,” says Majeske.
