Sista Bossen never does anything by the book. Having excelled in hard-hitting, dangerous, and often times humorous punk rock songs on their previous two albums, the band is known for writing songs that are extremely compact. The tunes are usually fast-paced and short, managing to pack in wordy lyrics delivered by lead singer Hampus in his native Scanian (skånska).

“Allvar” is a serious song about seriousness. Many of the songs that make up PONG are quite a few years old, and in that time “Allvar” has undergone the most facelifts. If you listen to the old demo recordings, the original version of the song is completely different from how it sounds now. Above all, we have Fredrik to thank for the messy guitar arrangement and the loud chorus that screams its way through the intro and outro.”
