LISTEN: Australia’s Rum Jungle Harness Modern Indie Rock Bravado On “All the Way Round and Back”

Newcastle Australia’s Rum Jungle is quickly finding its way around the country and with tracks like “All the Way Round and Back” it’s easy to see why. Opening with an early 2000s rock revival guitar sound but quickly divulging into something more modern and creative; they do a great job paying homage while carving out their own sound along the way. The dynamic rise and fall come out in bursts of high-energy guitar riffs and scratchy pushed vocals back to down-tempo bass-driven swagger. Culminating in the final section that just drives the higher energy side of the tune home.
