Based in Dublin, Holly Munro is a songwriter who creates electronic-infused folk-pop songs. Munro is releasing her debut EP with an already extensive touring schedule under her belt. Her distinctive sound has earned her appearances at festivals like All Together Now and Electric Picnic, as well as opening slots and performing backing vocals for acts such as her siblings Hudson Taylor and global star Hozier.
With mesmerizing vocal sway, in a sea of syncopated synthesizer glory, Munro brings us a new single in, “Glow Up”. The song is loaded with clever vocal layering and a hooky constitution. “Glow Up” is a sunny, yet simultaneously moody track with touches of Dirty Projectors meets Adrianne Lenker.
