MANIC MONDAY: Fugazi “Turnover” Live 1991

There’s been a fair amount of improbable reunions of legendary underground 90s bands lately (like Mr. Bungle and Unwound, just to name a couple of examples), but at the top of many people’s wishlist would be punk-rock legends Fugazi, who have been on an “indefinite hiatus” since wrapping up their last tour way back in 2002. And although this edition of Manic Monday is not intended to get anyone’s hopes up (the band have been pretty clear reforming is not a priority for them), we can offer you the next best thing by serving up this classic clip of them performing “Turnover” on a raw winter’s day in front of the White House roughly 33 years ago. The band is in top form here, arguably in their prime, and the chilly grungy conditions only help add to the epicness of this positively killer performance.
