Thom Southern is an alternative singer-songwriter based in Belfast. After a few years of helming various musical projects such as Southern and MMODE which saw Thom touring with acts like The Kooks, Jake Bugg, Foy Vance, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Coral, etc. Thom began releasing material under his solo moniker in 2021, where his observant and artful indie rock pop creations have begun to find an admiring audience. Thom Southern is set to release an EP via his own indie label ‘Mighty Good Leader. He will be promoting the EP with a run of headline shows across Ireland and the UK in 2024. Thom Southern is also the co-writer/producer for the Lucy Gaffney project who is making her own waves in the industry and is currently releasing music via Nettwerk Music Group.

The guitars scream grunge but the blistering tempos and youthful vocal tones say otherwise, Southern crafted a grab bag of punk tropes that is still undeniably unique.
