Throughout countless albums, collaborations, and touring themes (the guy is doing a Burt Bacharach tour soon), Rundgren has continually made his creative freedom his MO.
For Manic Monday, on this Presidents Day, most of us have to go to work, while those federal employees who get the day off can bang on the drums all day while they still can. Those who wish to be home can only hum this ” I don’t want to go to work” anthem. While this might be Rundgren’s most recognizable song, its manic beat is contagious.
