Jeffrey Alexander Moore has produced music since 7th grade, starting with hip-hop beats in GarageBand on the family Mac. His love for music grew exponentially when he picked up the guitar at 23, expanding his production into a wider range of sounds. Influenced by classic bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, and the Grateful Dead, as well as newer artists like Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, and J. Cole, he’s constantly exploring intriguing sounds through both production and guitar riffing. Originally from Milwaukee, he lives in Michigan to be closer to extended family.

“‘Lenny’ is a song about a man with dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities). Lenny is the man’s alter ego—the Mr. Hyde to his Dr. Jekyll—an evil monster who emerges whenever he pleases, leading the protagonist to commit unspeakable acts,” explains Moore. “The song wrestles with this reality as the protagonist is forced to accept Lenny as part of himself, even though Lenny manifests as a separate being in his mind. Ultimately, he has to come to terms with the fact that Lenny’s actions are his own.”
