LISTEN: Train Conductor Craft Twisted Shoegaze Psychedelia On “Elephant Graveyard”

Train Conductor is back with their second LP release this year. The title of the new album is Feeling Town. Earlier this year, the band released a stunning collaborative experimental electronic album with REIGHNBEAU titled Who is this? Now the band has a new, fuzzed-out psych-punk record. The album features Albuquerque’s most talented musicians and was recorded on 2” tape. Feeling Town is set to drop digitally in November.

“Elephant Graveyard” is our first preview of the anticipated LP from Train Conductor. The haunting, monstrous single brings with it an air of experimentation, washed down with eerie yet warm melodies that morph into life-like shadows that leap out of your speakers with a burst of lush shoegaze and the heaviness metal. The guitar riffs transition from searing to blissful with ease, the vocals add psychedelic splashes, and the thudding drums anchor it all to reality. Although, Train Conductor doesn’t seem much concerned with reality, but rather altering yours for a brief moment. “Elephant Graveyard” is a twisted, unpredictable preview of Feeling Town, an LP that is shaping up to be something special for Train Conductor.
