Badfish To Play ‘The Beach’ At Govenor’s Island




After another highly successful Garden Grove festival two weekends ago, Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime has announced a show that will also prove to be an awesome outdoor experience for their fans.  Badfish will headline a new beach venue on Governor’s Island, simply called The Beach at Governor’s Island, on Saturday, August 29.  Joining Badfish will be special guests Easy Star All-Stars, The Cannabis Cup Reggae Band performing the music of Bob Marley, and DJ I,Storm.  Tickets are $30 and are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com.  The first ferry to the island is at 10am, and fans can spend the day enjoying the beach before doors open for the show at 4pm.  A DJ will spin from 4-6pm with the first band hitting the stage at 6pm. 

 




The Highline Ballroom, along with Liberty Event Management & Water Taxi Beach, is proud to announce the Beach on Governors Island. This unique venue will quickly become New York’s premier live outdoor venue, resting on the coast of the New York Harbor, providing stunning views of Lower Manhattan.
