30 years ago today (6/9/86), Genesis (now a three piece at this point for nine years) released their most commercially successful album Invisible Touch. Invisible Touch remains the best-selling studio release from Genesis, with over 6,000,000 copies having been sold in the United States alone. It spawned five top five singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, “Invisible Touch”, “Throwing It All Away”, “Land of Confusion”, “In Too Deep” and “Tonight, Tonight, Tonight”, with “Invisible Touch” reaching #1, making it the only Genesis single to do so. Although not released as a single the two section “Domino” remains one of the strongest cuts on the LP. check out the band performing both parts at the old Wembley Stadium in London in July of 1987 as part of the Invisible Touch tour.
