Of Montreal, Built to Spill, Blitzen Trapper Lead Inaugural Treefort Music Festival

The inaugural Treefort Music Fest will take place at various venues throughout downtown Boise, Idaho March 22-25.  The festival – which already announced 21 performers including of Montreal, Built to Spill, Blitzen Trapper, Typhoon, and WHY? – will announce another round of artists on Wednesday, January 18 at 9 A.M MST. The performers to be announced are:

Many more performers will be announced in the coming weeks and the festival’s full lineup will be revealed early February. More information about the other artists on Treefort’s roster is available at treefortmusicfest.com/artists.

 

General admission wristbands, that will allow entry into any unfilled Treefort show, are currently for sale for $79.00 from the festival’s website. Please note that the shows will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 

The Treefort Music Fest was conceived as an extension of the current momentum in Boise’s music and art scenes. Organizers see Treefort as another stepping stone for the city’s young music scene – further introducing national, regional, and local artists to the music fans in Boise. Proceeds from the festival will benefit Radio Boise, a non-commercial, community radio station..
