Lindsey Buckingham Leaves Fleetwood Mac For Upcoming Tour – Replaced by Mike Campbell, Neil Finn

In a surprising turn of events as reported by TMZ, Lindsey Buckingham will not be touring with Fleetwood Mac in what might be their final farewell tour. The statement simply reads, “Lindsey Buckingham will not be performing with the band on this tour. The band wishes Lindsey all the best.”

The group has announced that Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers) and Neil Finn (Crowded House) will join the group for the upcoming tour.

Buckingham is one of the primary voices of the group, having been there for the band’s biggest albums that include their “White Album,” Rumours, Tusk, Mirage and Tango in the Night. While there is no reason yet for his departure, one must speculate its got to do with money?
