Foyer Red – “Gorgeous”

Yarn the Hours Away

The wonky, charming band known as Foyer Red is gearing up to release its debut studio album. Yarn the Hours Away is set to release on May 19 via Carpark records and the LPs latest single has the band filtering minimalism through their colorful range of sonics. “Gorgeous” is exactly that, an easily enjoyable tune that counteracts the sweetness of the vocals with the sharp yet bouncy guitar melody.

Redveil – “Giftbag”

Single

One of the freshest faces in hip-hop has made it their mission to cement themselves as one of the most diversely talented writers you’ll come across. Redveil had a hell of a 2022 and is forging forward with his new uptempo celebratory single, “Giftbag”. The new track has Redveil’s vocals melting into a plush wall of sound as the two melt together to create bright textures as the artist celebrates his impressive career so far.

OFF! – “KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT”

FLSD EP

The punk supergroup OFF! Used 2022 to release their most consistent and daring album to date. They are keeping the energy of Free LSD going by announcing an 8 song EP to accompany the acclaimed LP. “Keep Your Mouth Shut” is our first look at this upcoming release and it’s everything you want and more. Blistering guitar melodies get cooled off by the cartoonishly relaxed vocal delivery as the band tears through your speakers for just under two minutes.

The Murlocs – “Initiative”

Calm Ya Farm

The off-shoot of famed psych band King Gizzard, The Murlocs are gearing up to step out on their own once again. The band announced their latest release, Calm Ya Farm is set to release on May 19 via ATO Records and the twangy lead single has every buzzing about the LP. “Initiative” is the undeniably enjoyable single that packs so much personality and musicianship into its short time frame that you feel like you’re right there during the recording process, laughing and playing along to the country-tinged arrangement.

Tlmmy Stinson’s Cowboys In The Campfire – “Dream”

Wronger

Elijah Wolf – “We Talked About It”

Forgiving Season

Another Broooklyn-based artist is stepping up to the plate for a brand-new LP. Elijah Wolf has announced Forgiving Season, his upcoming album set to be released on June 23. “We Talked About It” is the intimate first look into the LP, the moody single has Wolf crooning over smacking drums and ambient piano to create heavy textures for the melancholy lyrics to sit on.

If you listen to one album today, make it Ways of Knowing

Benny Sings – “Movie Star”

Young Hearts

The day has finally arrived and we now have a brand new Benny Sings album at our fingertips. Young Hearts is produced by the great Kenny Beats and features a collection of soft-spoken love songs that explore the true meaning of said emotion. “Movie Star” takes the sonic direction of the album to the most extreme, with nothing but gentle guitar plucking and a rolling drum pattern Sings creates an other-worldly atmosphere with his melodies as he passionately croons about the endless possibility of a better situation than the one presented.
