Black Sabbath Reuniting For Back To The Beginning Performance- Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Alice In Chains, Ozzy Solo & More To Perform

All great stories must end, and their characters are to be heralded as heroes. Today (February 5), Ozzy Osbourne announced the final show of his career with the release of the Back To The Beginning festival’s lineup. The festival, which Tom Morello oversaw, will take place on Saturday, July 5, at Villa Park in Birmingham. The lineup includes a reunion of the original four Black Sabbath members, including a solo set from Ozzy, Metallica, Slayer, and many more, with more bands to be announced. Tickets will go on sale Friday, February 14, via Live Nation UK

Back to the Beginning Festival will mark the first time the original Black Sabbath will perform together in twenty years, a ceremonious send-off for Ozzy as the legend deservedly slips into retirement. Osbourne’s solo set will surely include some surprise guests like Billy Corgan, David Draiman, Slash & Duff McKagan, Frank Bello, Fred Durst, Jake E. Lee, and Jonathan Davis, who are confirmed to appear at the festival. All profits from the show will be split up amongst various charities, including Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice, and Cure Parkinson’s.
