Tuesday’s Gone: Listen To Sun City Girls’ 1990 Classic ‘Torch of the Mystics’

Continuing our spotlight on Phoenix’s very own Sun City Girls, as evidenced by yesterday’s Manic Monday selection, it’s probably fair to say the band wasn’t the most accessible group in the land during their heyday. But that, of course, was the inherent beauty of Sun City Girls, and what enabled them to create such wildly bizarre and creative music throughout their multi-decade career. But if you happen to be new to the band and are seeking a good entry point, look no further than their classic 1990 album Torch of the Mystics. Granted, it’s tough to find a hard copy, but thanks to the modern-day wonders of (occasionally dystopian) technology, you can check it out in its entirety below.
