The stars must have been perfectly aligned when Red Hot Chili Pepper’s drummer, Chad Smith, guitarist Jeff Kollman (Cosmosquad) and keyboardist Ed Roth were brought together to help out Glenn Hughes’ latest project.

When Christina Courtin was recording her self-titled Nonesuch debut, one would think that she would be working her violin’s strings to death. Instead, Courtin, an already accomplished Juilliard-trained violinist, didn’t see that as a decision that needed to be made. However with Folk Singer, Moore returns to his roots with something that sucks you into his personal thoughts and reflections in a way that is truly cry-in-your-beer beautiful.
Six years since their last album, Living Colour is back with a hunger. The band’s latest album, The Chair In The Doorway, is a ferocious, take no prisoners, assault on cultural roadblocks and out-dated philosophies.

When you throw the term super group around, the tendency is to dwell on the star studded lineup that earned the group its “super” status, and Tinted Windows is no exception. The power pop quartet has been riding high upon the heels of their self-titled freshman debut, but on the surface, the group’s lineup makes for a much better story than the album.
