Look for long lines at independent record stores across the nation on April 16 as Record Store Day takes hold. With each passing the year the number of exclusive RSD releases increases as does the attention given to the day by music fans. Yesterday, our friends at CoS hipped us to a PDF file listing all of the titles being exclusively released for Record Store Day and it is jammed packed with vinyl and CD from artists within nearly every genre.
For this week’s B List, I’ve examined the PDF file and came up with ten RSD exclusives of particular interest to me. I’ll share what’s on my shopping list and then I’d love to see what your list looks like.

Monday night’s show had a jazzy feel to it with our first sit-ins by annual Beacon guests The Juke Horns and by acclaimed jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker. Highlights included a Gregg-led cover of Ain’t No Love In The Heart of The City featuring the horn section, Brecker’s work on Liz Reed and the run’s first The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.
