20 years ago today (12/5/00), bluegrass came out of the underground as the soundtrack to the Coen Brothers film O Brother, Where Art Thou? was released. Produced by T-Bone Burnett, bluegrass, gospel, and folk were featured from artists that included Norman Blake, Ralph Stanley, Hanry McClintock, and John Hartford.
