20 years ago today (6/15/96), American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald who was often referred to as the First Lady of Song and Queen of Jazz died at age 79. With her improvisational ability and scat singing style, her collaboration with Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington are that of legend and still find themselves relevant today, particularly in upscale home furnishing retail establishments.
