50 years ago today (3/23/70) Leon Russell released his self-titled debut solo album. The album contained “A Song For You,” which is Russell’s most recognizable song and was recently added to the Grammy Hall of Fame. The album features a mighty roster of guest appearances including George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood and Joe Cocker.
