Billy Bragg Readies Mr. Love & Justice for April 22

Billy Bragg’s first album under his own name in six years will double as his debut for Epitaph’s Anti- imprint. "Mr. Love & Justice" is due April 22 and includes 12 new songs.

Faces principal Ian McLagan guests on Hammond organ and piano, while Robert Wyatt sings on album opener "I Keep Faith." Grant Showbiz (the Smiths, the Fall) produced.

"Mr. Love & Justice" is the follow-up to Bragg’s Elektra Records swansong, 2002’s "England, Half English." The artist will unveil material from the album during Anti-‘s March 13 showcase at South by Southwest in Austin.
