My Morning Jacket will make its "Saturday Night Live" debut when it serves as the musical guest on the May 10 taping of the NBC show. The group will introduce material from its upcoming album, "Evil Urges," due June 10 via ATO.
In addition, MMJ has revealed its summer European tour plans, which include appearances at such festivals as Glastonbury, Werchter and T in the Park. Dates begin June 25 in Sheffield, England.
Also new to the calendar are post-Bonnaroo shows in Toronto (June 16) and Montreal (June 17), plus an "evening with" show in the band’s Louisville hometown on Aug. 16 at Waterfront Park.
