Love As Laughter Releasing Holy – July 24th

Glacial Pace Recordings is pleased to announce the June 24th release of Holy, the new album by Love As Laughter. Holy, the band’s seventh album, was recorded during the second half of 2007 in-between tours with Modest Mouse and Band Of Horses and was produced by Joe Blaney at his NYC studio; Joe Music. Blaney is a renowned producer and engineer most notably known for his groundbreaking work on the Clash’s Combat Rock.

Love As Laughter’s ambitious new album contains eleven tracks that builds upon the band’s flair for realistic storytelling with a healthy
dose of crafty innuendos. Songs like “Konny and Jim,” “Cleaning Man” and “Don’t Worry Baby” are subdued yet gritty & powerful while “Baby Suds” and the first single, “All Parts Of Me” jump up as eclectic guitar pop gems. Utilizing more instrumentation than ever before, the album is filled with sonic flourishes that sometimes sneak up on you and gently weave their way through each tune.
