When the initial Mountain Jam lineup was announced a few weeks ago, we thought the promoters put together a fairly strong lineup. It turns out they had a few other bands up their sleeves. Today Radio Woodstock and Warren Haynes confirmed that RatDog, Umphrey’s McGee, Dr. Dog, Pete Francis and Larry McCray have all been added to the lineup. They join a wide ranging cast of characters that includes Levon Helm, Gov’t Mule, Sharon Jones, Drive-By Truckers and the Dark Star Orchestra. The fourth annual Mountain Jam Music Festival takes place at Hunter Mountain on May 30 – June 1. Tickets are currently available at MountainJam.com.

said it before. say it again.
in the land of the giant corporate festies, mountain jam is sovereign independent space on a smaller scale.
Everything accessible. Limited trekking. Beautiful scenery in the Hudson Valley of New York.
great lineup great scenery great staff/security = sick fun
EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT A MULE FAN, GIVE MOUNTAIN JAM A 2nd LOOK!
Hot damn, love those additions. Dr. Dog may be one of my favorite touring bands these day – those guys put on a hell of a show.
I’m with you Goff. The smaller festivals are so much more fun and so much less work. Plus, you might actually be able to hear the music.
