The Dead’s newfangled text messaging system just sent out a note that the band will be playing three shows in New York City on Monday to promote their upcoming Spring Tour. Text “DEAD” to 50505 to sign up for their new service. In other Dead news, drummer Mickey Hart spoke with Billboard and told them the band worked up 150 songs for the upcoming tour.
