The Forecastle Festival will return in 2016 led by The Avett Brothers Alabama Shakes; Ryan Adams; and Death Cab for Cutie. The three-day music celebration, now in its 14th year, will take place July 15-17, 2016, at the award-winning Waterfront Park, situated on 85 acres of green space on the banks of the Ohio River framed by the skyline of downtown Louisville.
Other artists of interest include three-time Grammy Award-winner Ben Harper reuniting with his band The Innocent Criminals in support of their first album in eight years, Call It What It Is, out April 8, 2016. Others notable acts include All Them Witches, The Suffers, Steve Gunn, Phosphorescent, Brandi Carlile, Gary Clark Jr., Big Gigantic, Dr. Dog, Blackberry Smoke, Sylvan Esso and more.
