Michael Jackson Video Game Unveiled

Ubisoft, a leading producer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment products worldwide, announced at their press briefing prior to the renowned video game conference, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the development of an officially licensed Michael Jackson video game.  The game is a close collaboration between Ubisoft and the Michael Jackson Estate and will feature some of his most iconic songs, including Beat It and Billie Jean.  The game will offer a truly interactive experience – placing fans into the shoes of the most celebrated performer of all-time.

The game was unveiled in grand fashion during Ubisoft’s E3 press briefing with a surprise performance from Jackson’s former back-up dancers, choreographed by famed “This is It” tour choreographer and producer, Travis Payne.  The dancers took stage at the briefing, performing to the mega-hit song Beat It.

The game is slated to be in stores by holiday 2010 and will be available for Microsoft’s Project Natal, Sony’s PlayStation 3 and PSP as well as the Nintendo Wii and DS.  More information will be released by Ubisoft in the near future.
