Suicide Squeeze has annoucned vinyl and cassette reissue details for Minus the Bear’s debut EP, This Is What I Know About Being Gigantic and first full length album, Highly Refined Pirates. The release announcement comes on the heels of Minus the Bear’s previously announced 10th anniversary tour, which begins October 4 in Boise, ID at Knitting Factory and wraps on November 11 in Seattle, WA at Showbox at the Market. For this tour the band will integrate a full performance of Highly Refined Pirates into its set.
With regard to the reissues: Highly Refined Pirates has been out of print for three years, while This Is What I Know About Being Gigantic has never before been available on vinyl. Suicide Squeeze will release both …Gigantic and …Pirates in the following formats on October 4th:
The first pressing of This Is What I Know About Being Gigantic will be available on vinyl and in the following quantities: 1,000 (ltd. ed. black 180 gram) and 1,000 (clear). The cassette edition will be limited to 300 copies and come in a Kelly Green cassette shell.
The first repressing of Highly Refined Pirates will be available on vinyl and in the following quantities 1,000 (ltd. ed. 180 gram /black) and 1,000 (translucent blue). The cassette edition will be limited to 300 copies and come in a Pepsi Blue cassette shell.
